Otsuka Music Festival 2013
On the 25th and 26th of May, I discovered many Japanese artists during Otsuka music festival 2013! It was a sunny day with free outdoor concerts! If you are available on this weekend (1st and 2nd of June), the festival continues! You can see the program online by clicking on the following link. Minami Otsuka Hall on Saturday 1st of June: You can meet groups from different schools. The hall opens at 1:45pm and the show starts at 2pm and ends at 4:30pm. Ghibli Museum!
To all Miyazaki and Ghibli fans in Tokyo! Here is a place you have to visit: the Ghibli Museum. It is a museum dedicated to the Studio Ghibli and located in Mitaka, in the Tokyo area. It was designed by Miyazaki himself and it officially opened on October 1st, 2001. There are two main exhibits: one shows the history and science of animation, with models of Ghibli characters, paintings, etc. There is even a studio (the Saturn Theater) where you can watch short-movies. Animate, la mecque des otakus
Bien que l’on soit au Japon, ça peut paraître étrange, mais on ne trouve pas “tous” les mangas “partout” comme on aurait tendance à le penser depuis la France, bien sur il y a Akihabara, mais quand on dit Akihabara à un ami, ça nous fait tout de suite passer pour un otaku nolife et pas très sexy, si vous ne voulez pas qu’on vous attribue cette image, vous serez content de savoir qu’il y a d’autres quartiers pour vous en procurer (en secret). Quand Shiodome rencontre Hayao Miyazaki
En tant que fan de Ghibli, vous savez sûrement qu’il existe un musée sur l’histoire de Ghibli à Tokyo, mais ce que vous ne savez peut être pas, c’est le lien tout particulier de Hayao Mizazaki, l’un des fondateurs du mythique studio Ghibli avec la chaîne de télévision Nihon Terebi.
