David Lynch exhibition at Shibuya
Probably most of you know David Lynch because of movies such as Mulholland Drive, Eraserhead or Wild at Heart, among others. Or maybe even because the TV series Twin Peaks. He’s indeed one of most recognized filmmakers of our time, a master of the surreal and yeah, he is great at disturbing audiences through his works. Maybe that’s why he wanted to go deeper and explore other medias, although I reckon there were other reasons behind it. In any case, David Lynch also creates music, paintings, literature, etc.
So from now and until the next 14th July there is an exhibition taking place in Shibuya which explores his photographic works through his “Nude-Atelier IDEM 2012” collection, a series lithography where one of its main topics are female nudes. We know that David Lynch is certainly very talented at doing movies, but whether he’s also good or not at photography is something that you will need to judge by yourself. So whether if you are a David Lynch fan or you are just into photography, it’s worth to check out this FREE exhibition.
